Medical ethical standards and state and federal statutes and regulations prohibit release of an individual's medical infomation to a third party without the consent of that individual.  To release copies of an individual's medical information, Bethel Family Clinic requires a written authorization.

There are circumstances medical providers are required to report certain medical conditions to state or federal authorities, for instance, certain communicable diseases, suspected child abuse, and gunshot or stab wounds.

In accordance with federal and state regulations, minors of any age may request family planning and other reproductive health services without consent from their guardians.  Additionally, Bethel Family Clinic will not bill patients' guardians without consent of the patient.
