Letter from Executive Director November 2018
Get out the winter gear. Summer 2018 is a memory. We are approaching our winter months, which will also mean the flu season is rapidly approaching.
Stop by to see the new building for health services. We are seeing patents there now. The original building is now for Community Services and Administration. We have finished the painting and updating and welcome visitors as well.
We regularly carry pneumonia and shingles vaccines for our patients’ year around. The flu season is a new type of vaccine every year, so we have to wait until the supplier distributes it. We have the vaccine available now. Call 543-3773 to schedule the time to come in your vaccine(s).

Our holiday schedule for November notes we will be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, November 19 through 21, 2018 during regular business hours. We will be closed on Thursday, November 22, 2018 and Friday, November 23, 2018 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will resume office hours on Monday, November 26, 2018. The National Alliance on Mental Illness is dedicated to assisting in support and awareness. Millions of Americans live with a mental health condition. It affects everyone directly or indirectly. Stress, work-life balance, depression, and substance addiction can affect us at one point in our lives.
While often misunderstood, mental illness is treatable. Many of those diagnosed achieve strength and recovery through participating in individual or group treatments, medication therapy, or a combination of these. There are many different treatment options available. There is no treatment that works for everyone – individuals can chose the treatment, or combination of treatments, that works best.
